Accelerated Reader

What is AR

Accelerated Reader is a digital program that helps students and teachers manage and monitor independent reading practice in English and Spanish.

Students pick a book at their level and read it at their own pace. When they finish the book, they take a short computer quiz to check their understanding.

As students read and take quizzes, they earn points and track their progress toward their individualized Accelerated Reader goals.

AR Bookfinder

Renaissance Accelerated Reader Bookfinder is a web-based search tool for parents, guardians, and students to find appropriate Accelerated Reader books.

Home Connect

Renaissance Home Connect is a program that allows parents access to real-time information about Accelerated Reader to stay up to date and keep their children motivated. Parents can get emails and alerts when their child takes a quiz. Students and parents can review AR quiz results and see progress toward reading goals.

You will use your child’s school username and password for this website.

*Does not allow quizzing in Accelerated Reader from home.
